Two months after BIGBANG 4th Mini-Album, a special repackaged version of the mini-album was also released, BIGBANG Special Edition. This would be BIGBANG’s first repackaged release, and instead of only including a few new songs, YG decided to release it as a new compilation album with a 100 page photobook. BIGBANG Special Edition only included three songs from the original mini-album, "Tonight", "Cafe" and "Somebody to Love". It also included three new songs, "Love Song" and "Stupid Liar" which were used as lead tracks, and Daesung’s solo "BABY DON’T CRY". Additionally, the album also includes a collection of the solo songs released by GD & TOP, Taeyang and Seungri before their come-back as BIGBANG.
