My Buddy

Zeng You Quan, (Paul Chan) aged 40, is a single and a honest man and works in a air-con company as a supervisor. His mother passed away early and his irresponsible father suddenly went missing. Being the eldest in the family, You Quan had to take care of his two sisters.

His sister, Zhi Ling, is already 35 and still single. Zhi Ling is unsociable and stingy, thus You Quan is worried that she will remain single. Hence, he is always trying to matchmake Zhi Ling but is always unsuccessful. Unknown to him, Zhi Ling is actually secretly in love with a guy.

The youngest sister, Zhi Mei, aged 26 is a university graduate. In order to let her pursue her studies in University, You Quan took loans from banks. However, after graduating, Zhi Mei does not take her job seriously and is always changing jobs. Obsessed with her material needs, she often asks You Quan for money.

The Ultimatum

Table of Glory

Since young, He Sheng Wu (Joshua Ang) has had a passion for table tennis. His mother was a national player and she personally coached him and honed his skills as a table tennis player. However, ever since his mother’s untimely death in an accident, Ah Wu became quiet and sullen and withdrew into his own shell. His performance in his studies and at work was affected and he was branded a “loser”. Ah Wu helps out at his father, He Yingxiong’s (Zheng Ge Ping) laundry shop. His only comfort is in paddling a table tennis ball against a wall.

He Yingxiong is furious that his son is seemingly useless and wasting his life away paddling a table tennis ball against an empty wall on most days. He refuses to let Ah Wu play table tennis. However, Ah Wu resists all attempts to stop him from playing table tennis and continues to do so. Even though Ah Wu does not have any actual experience playing against a real opponent, and in fact could not even beat a young child at a game of table tennis, he possesses an innate talent for reading his opponent’s moves and strategy in the game. This enables him to be the dark horse in some matches, coming back from the brink of defeat to win the game.

The Dream Catchers

Reunion Dinner

Ah Ping, a 43-year-old housewife, she is known as the "Iron Lady", maintaining the overwhelming demands of a family. Love Blossoms II

Although Linglan (Constance Song) and Wenhao (Terence Cao) is reunited with the family, Dashun (Chen Shucheng) is unable to bask in family bliss. Wenhao is unable to assimilate into the family as he feels that Dashun acknowledged him only because his mother has died. Lu Gua’s (Chen Tianwen) greed and laziness irks Haitong (Felicia Chin) and both get into frequent confrontations because of Tao Garden .

When Wenzhu’s (Koh Yah Hwee) condition improves after a period of rest, she decides to further her studies abroad. Wenhao takes the opportunity to announce that he has to go to Australia to settle his mother’s estate. With his children leaving him one by one, Dashun feels a sense of loss especially when Zijing is still missing.

Without Daji (Zhang Yaodong) helping her, Haitong has to manage Tao Garden and E28, the hamper-selling branch of Tao Garden, on her own. Her ex-boyfriend Zipeng (Adam Chen) tries to rekindle their relationship and although Haitong makes it clear that she is not interested, Zipeng joins E28 on the pretext that he is protecting Haitong from Lu Gua’s bullying.

When Daji returns, he is not pleased with Zipeng’s presence but respects Haitong’s arrangement.
