Li Lian Jie (born April 26, 1963), better known by his stage name Jet Li, is a Chinese martial artist, actor, film producer, wushu champion, and international film star who was born in Beijing, China, and who has currently taken up Singapore citizenship.
Daniel Yin-Cho Wu (born 30 September 1974) is an American-born Chinese Hong Kong film actor, director, and producer. Since his film debut in 1998, he has been featured in over 40 films. Wu has been called “the young Andy Lau,” and is known as a “flexible and distinctive” leading actor in the Chinese-language film industry.
Hong Kong action hero Jackie Chan is set to star in the remake of the 1980s cult classic, The Karate Kid.
Chan will portray a martial arts teacher, similar to the role made famous by Pat Morita.
The film will also star Jaden Smith, the son of Hollywood couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. The young actor, who appeared with his father in Pursuit of Happyness, will play the character of Dre in the new film titled Kung Fu Kid.
